Teaching Points

An anthropologist is the study of people--where they came from, how they live differently in different societies across the world, how they interact with each other and with their environment, throughout different places and times. Anthropology is an interdisciplinary science, however, the field focuses in detail on cultural, biological, linguistic, and archaeological research.
