What was your career motivation?
“I have always been interested in academia and research. My goal is to become a professor at a major university. I love math and chemistry and had wonderful teachers in high school. In addition, I thought it would be important to choose a field that would be beneficial to my community. I would also like to mentor Native American students entering college.”

I like to see the "light bulb go off' when I am teaching a student about how to interact with a patient to improve their health.

Secondly, I like to learn about new ways to care for and communicate with behavioral health clients
