Physicians (doctors) diagnose and/or treat illness and injuries. Some treatment may include prescriptions, therapy or referrals to specialized care physicians. They also work with patients to maintain their health with wellness checks and updating vaccines.
Most physicians are in private practice. They can also specialist such as a lung doctor, brain, kidney, nuclear or surgery.
It is suggested you have a strong knowledge of math, humanities, biology, and chemistry. After college, you attend a medical school and work in a hospital setting.
