Industrial Arts teachers are specialized. One may teach engine repair while another woodworking, metalworking, welding or heating and air-conditioning.
They must follow the classes needed to become a teacher and then specialize in the area they want to teach. Some schools call them vocational teachers.
Specialized tools such as robotics, graphic design, soldering irons, drills, saws and advanced electronics and computer programs. All the classes are hands-on experience from building a bench or repairing an engine on a car.
