“I enjoy working on education and research projects. I was able to collaborate with national and international scientists. I enjoyed teaching and doing research.” Special Job Skills. It is critical that skills in abstract reasoning be developed to effectively meet the challenges of studying physics. How did you become interested in this career? “I began my college career in mechanical engineering and changed my career to physics when I found answers to my questions about the laws of nature.”

Update 2018

Dr. Begay died in April of 2013.  He was studying both physics and Navajo religion and found that the Navajo have many religious concepts that have

counterparts in physics,  such as relativity, space-time, and quantum mechanics.
