Career Choice Decision

“My interest in this field was based on a personal experience.  I witnessed a lack of understanding in regards to culture and the importance of culture in healing.  I decided to learn more about the field and chose to be a psychologist so that I could strengthen the connection between culture and healing.  

 

I want to be able to each new therapists about working with Native Americans and as a psychologist, I”ve been able to offer that type of training.”

“Each experience is unique, every day feels like a new job.  With each new experience, I learn from families and that learning is beneficial in assisting other children and families.

 

As a business owner, I enjoy the freedom I have and I appreciate that I am able to work specifically with Native American children and families.
